Military Medal 'On the night of 15th/16th October, 1916, during a raid on the German trenches near DIEPENDAAL. He was in charge of a section of bombers who were covering the retirement of the raiding party. He carried out his work very coolly and bravely and was the last man to leave the hostile trenches.'
