Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during operations at PASSCHENDAELE RIDGE, East of YPRES, from 5th to 9th November, 1917. Private RENDALL'S efforts were untiring in his endeavour to maintain the telephone lines between Bn. H.Q.s and the Companies. On the 6th November under a continuous and intense barrage, for 10 hours he was out attending to the lines.'
