Medals |
Meritorious Service Medal 'This N.C.O. has rendered invaluable service both in the line and out of it. He has performed continuously, the duties of Battalion Orderly Room Clerk in a highly efficient manner. Frequently in the line he has had to contend with adverse and difficult conditions, but his indomitable spirit and cheerfulness have at all times proved invincible. During the preparations for the successful action near MORLANCOURT on June 10th 1918, and during the operation itself, his assistance was invaluable, while his efforts in connection with the recent operations near WARFUSEE-ABANCOURT, East of AMIENS, on the 8th, 9th and 11th August 1918 have beyond all praise.'
