Military Medal 'For conspicuous bravery at MONT de MERRIS near STRAZEELE on morning of 14th April, 1918. When an ammunition carrier was severely wounded 30 yards from his post, Lance Corporal EDWARDS went out and carried him to his post. By his prompt action he undoubtedly saved the man's life.'
