On Command at School of Instruction, Kandahar, 3 December 1917; rejoined unit, 18 January 1918. Proceeded overseas to France, 5 February 1918; taken on strength, 12 February 1918. Wounded in action, 30 March 1918 (gun shot wound, left leg), and admitted to 9th Australian Field Ambulance; discharged to duty, 30 March 1918.
