LARDELLI AIF & other persons unknown to obtain the improper issue to divers persons not entitled to same of ration allowances with intent thereby to defraud the public; found guilty; sentenced to be reduced to the ranks and to serve 1 year's imprisonment with hard labour.

Marched in to Lewes Detention Barracks under escort, 27 October 1919.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Konigen Luise', 18 December 1919, to serve unexpired portion of sentence of 1 year imprisonment with hard labour (conspiracy to defraud), and to be discharged with ignominy; disembarked Sydney, 7 February 1920.

Not eligible for War medals.
