Military Medal

'On the 4th July, 1918, during the attack on HAMEL, the Company of which FRASER was a member came under intense machine gun fire. He immediately, single handed, dashed forward and shot the Officer and the remaining four members of the gun crew who were putting up a stubborn fight. This N.C.O. displayed great coolness and an utter disregard for his personal safety and set a fine example of devotion to duty.'
