Distinguished Conduct Medal 'From 25 February - 18 September 1918. For consistently good and gallant work and great devotion to duty. He has at all times set a splendid example to his men, and ably supported the infantry in the line whenever called upon. During recent offensive operations, he has proved himself a leader, and the skilful manner in which he has handled his guns has been of the greatest assistance to the infantry.'
