Military Medal 'On the morning of the 15th April in the vicinity of LONGATTE, the 43rd Battery was heavily shelled. Gunner BAILEY, under heavy shell fire, showed great courage and coolness in rescuing a wounded man from a burning ammunition pit, which hostile shelling had ignited.'
