Admitted to hospital at sea, 3 August 1917 (influenza); disembarked Liverpool, England, 26 August 1917, and marched into 1st Southern General Hospital, Edgbaston (influenza); transferred to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, 12 September 1917; discharged to No 2 Command Depot, Weymouth, 17 September 1917; marched into D Sub Depot, Parkhouse, 24 September 1917. Commenced return to Australia on HT 'Port Lylleton', 19 October 1917; disembarked Melbourne, 15 December 1917, for onward travel to 1st Military District.
