Proceeded overseas to France, 29 September 1916; marched in to 2nd Australian Division Base Depot, Etaples, 1 October 1916; taken on strength, 32nd Bn, in the field, 15 October 1916. Admitted to 5th Australian Field Ambulance, 21 November 1916 (mumps), and transferred same day to 39th Casualty Clearing Station; to 25th Stationary Hospital, Rouen, 26 November 1916; to No 2 Convalescent Depot, 19 December 1916; to 5th Australian Division Base Depot, Etaples, 23 December 1916; rejoined Bn, in the field, 31 December 1916.
