Statement, Red Cross File No 1160101, 2805 Pte L.E. TATTERSON, D Company, 59th Bn (patient, Harborne Hall VAD Hospital, Birmingham, England), 10 February 1917: 'Cecil Giblett of my D. Coy was killed going over the top at Fromelles 19th July/16. I cannot give better confirmation. There is no doubt about it. We were engaged in an advance attack in the evening, when the whole of our line was badly cut up.'
