Military Medal 'These men [GLENN, 9602 R. COLMAN, and 101 A.A. BRUNT] were noted on 25th May 1917, when intense enemy fire and an ammunition dump exploding close by, made necessary the rapid removal of the horses of the convoy of which they formed part; the example they set on this occasion was a fine one and their coolness of great value in carrying out the work. The convoy was engaged upon road repair work in the vicinity of BUSSCHEMEERSCHEN under direct observation of enemy's balloon with a party of Infantry who immediately left their work and took cover leaving the Drivers to extricate themselves. The road was too narrow to turn vehicles.'
