'This Warrant Officer has during the period 26/2/17 to 20/9/17 served with this unit as Warrant Officer in charge of Horse Transport, and during that period has exercised great discretion and unremitting care of horses, vehicles and equipment; by his close and careful attention both animals and vehicles have been kept in a most efficient condition and the standard he has set, by his example to the personnel of the transport has raised and kept them at a very high standard and deserves special recognition.'
