Military Medal 'On the morning of the 11th April, 1917, in the attack on the Hindenburg Line near BULLECOURT, Private Goodwin showed great courage and devotion to duty whilst the enemy was being bombed out of a sap. He carried bombs and kept the supply up and was of great help to the throwers. His work was performed under heavy bombing by the enemy.'
