Military Medal

'These men [Grace, 1153 T.H. McColl and 3715 A.H. Buckeridge] were members of the 2nd Aust. Battn. Raiding party on night of 12/13th October 1916, when they came under heavy Bomb and Rifle fire; their courage largely assisted the Officers to re-organise their parties, and set an example that helped to make the raid a success, they are worthy of special recommendations.'
