Admitted to No 1 Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 21 August 1915 (diarrhoea); transferred to Base, 15 September 1915; to England, and admitted to King George Hospital, Stamford Street, London, 26 September 1915 (enteritis); transferred to Australian Convalescent Hospital, Woodcote Park, 31 May 1916; discharged, 7 August 1916. Marched in to No 1 Command Depot, Perham Downs, 8 August 1916. Transferred to Adminstrative Headquarters, London, 1 September 1916, for duty with Anzac and War Chest Club. Admitted to Coulter Hospital, 16 December 1916; marched in to Administrative Headquarters from hospital, 27 December 1916.
