Taken on strength of 51st Bn, Tel-el-Kebir, 3 March 1916. Transferred to Australian Divisional Artillery, Tel-el-Kebir, and taken on strength of the 112th Battery of 24th Howitzer Brigade, 16 March 1916. Transferred to 4th Divisional Ammunition Column, Serapeum, and taken on strength of No 3 Section, 19 April 1916. Transferred to Artillery Training Depot, Tel-el-Kebir, 26 May 1916.

Embarked Alexandria on HMT 'Ionian' and proceeded to join the British Expeditionary Force, 7 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 15 June 1916; taken on strength of 10 Field Artillery Brigade, 30 June 1916.
