Proceeded to England from Calais on HS 'St. Antwerpen', 24 September 1916; admitted to Northern General Hospital, Leicester, 25 September 1916 (rheumatism); discharged on furlough, 19 October 1916. Marched into No 1 Command Depot, Perham Downs, 2 November 1916; marched into No 2 Command Depot, Weymouth, 11 November 1916.
