Wounded in action and admitted to 4th Field Ambulance, 8 July 1918 (shrapnel wound to back); transferred to 5th Casualty Clearing Station, 10 July 1918; to England, 13 July 1918; admitted to Oxford General Hospital, England, 14 July 1918; to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, 2 August 1918; granted leave, 14 -28 August 1918.
