Military Medal 'During an enemy attack on the platoon post near STRAZEELE on the morning of the 14th June 1918, Lance Corporal HALL organised a party and moved forward to intercept the enemy who were endeavouridng to envelop one of our posts. By his iniative and example his party prevented the post on the flank from being surrounded.'
