War service: Egypt, Gallipoli, Western Front Proceeded to join the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, 30 August 1915. Admitted to 6th Field Ambulance, 5 October 1915, and transferred to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station (shell shock). Embarked on board HS 'Assaye' for further treatment in Malta, 5 October 1915; admitted to St. Patrick's Hospital, 10 October 1915; embarked on board HS 'Oxfordshire' and proceeded to England for further treatment, 23 October 1915; admitted to Fueban Hospital, 30 October 1915; discharged to Weymouth Depot, 22 February 1916.
