Commenced duty as Matron-in-Chief at 3rd London General Hospital, Wandsworth, 12 November 1915; transferred to HS 'Star of England for transport duty, 6 December 1915.

Taken to Ivanhoe Hotel for recuperation, 6 December 1915 (sea sickness); transferred to 1st Australian Auxiliary Hospital, 7 December 1915. Transferred to 1st Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 8 December 1915; granted leave from duty, 9 May 1916; returned to duty, Harefield, 16 May 1916; struck off strength of 1st Auxiliary Hospital, 19 November 1916.

Proceeded to France on duty, 22 November 1916; taken on strength of 1st Australian General Hospital, Rouen, 24 November 1916.
