Military Medal 'During operations by 15th Infantry Brigade on the MORLANCOURT front, South West of ALBERT, on 4th July 1918 Sergeant HARRISON (Signal Sergeant) did excellent work. Early in the morning, during a terrific bombardment of our front line and communication trenches, he was out mending wires and establishing communication at a most critical period. Throughout the day an intense enemy barrage, he again established communication at great personal risk. The shelling lasted the greater part of the night, but this N.C.O. maintained the communications. He did not cease working in the front line during the whole of the critical period. His courage and devotion to duty set a fine example, which is worthy of special recognition.'
