Embarked Alexandria on board HMT 'Huntswood' and proceeded to joint the British Expeditionary Force, 20 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 30 June 1916; moved out from 5th Australian General Base Depot, Etaples, 19 August 1916; taken on strength of 8th Machine Gun Company, 29 August 1916.
