Admitted to 4th Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 27 November 1915 (mumps); transferred to 1st Auxiliary Hospital, 29 December 1915; discharged to unit, 29 December 1915; moved out to entrain at Helmeih Siding, 26 February 1916. Embarked Port Said on HT ‘Malwa’ and proceeded to the United Kingdom, 27 March 1919; taken on strength of Australian Imperial Force Headquarters, 11 April 1919; granted leave, 12 April 1919; marched into RBAA Camp, Heytesbury, 12 May 1919.

Commenced return to Australia on HT ‘Prinz Ludwig’, 9 July 1919.

Admitted to hospital at sea, 21 July 1919 (malaria); discharged to duty, 26 July 1919.
