Marched into 4th Training Bn, Zeitoun, 26 April 1916; allotted to 12th Training Bn, 24 May 1916.

Embarked Alexandria on HMT ‘Huntspill’ and proceeded to join the British Expeditionary Force, 7 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 14 June 1916, and marched into 4th Divisional Base Depot, Etaples; moved into the field, 17 July 1916; taken on strength, 48th Bn, 18 July 1916.

Killed in action, 6 August 1916.
