Military Medal 'On the night of 20th and morning of 21st September 1917, whilst on traffic duty near YPRES, Pte. HENRY showed great skill in handling the traffic whilst the road was being heavily shelled. This greatly assisted the Infantry and helped the wounded to quickly reach the Dressing Stations. He also directed the supply of munitions and food to the front line. Before his tour of duty was finished he was severely wounded.'
