Military Medal 'This N.C.O. did excellent work during the whole of the operations in front of REINCOURT on 3rd May. During the whole of the engagement he led his men in a most gallant style. On the men becoming disorganised he reorganised them, excercising great control, and setting a splendid example by his action, coolness and courage.'
