Evacuated to hospital, 8 December 1915 (hernia); admitted to No 24 Field Ambulance, Mudros, 10 December 1915; transferred to No 2 Australian General Hospital, Ghezirch, Egypt, 2 January 1916; to No 3 Auxiliary Hospital, Cairo, 2 February 1916; discharged, 2 February 1916, and marched into Overseas Base the same day.

Proceeded to unit, 30 March 1916.

Embarked Alexandria for postal duty, 6 April 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 12 April 1916.

With Base Postal Corps, 2 May 1916.
