'He enlisted in 7th Field Ambulance and was on Gallipoli where he lost his brother. Afterwards going to France he rose to Staff Sgt. and transferred and took a commission in the 26th Battalion and died from wounds in a London Hospital. Was buried in Brookwood Cemetery.' Details from Mother. |
