Admitted to 9th Australian Field Ambulance, 24 August 1917 (sore on penis); transferred to 10th Stationary Hospital, St Omer, 12 September 1917; to 7th Convalescent Depot, Boulogne, 22 September 1917 (inflamed lymph glands, groin); discharged to Base Details, 29 September 1917; marched in to 3rd Australian Division Base Depot, Rouelles, 3 October 1917; rejoined Bn, in the field, 11 October 1917.
