Proceeded to unit, 9 September 1916; taken on strength of 14th Company, Imperial Camel Corps, 11 September 1916. Taken on strength of 3rd Anzac Bn, Imperial Camel Corps, 11 September 1916. Attached to Bde Signal Section, Imperial Camel Corps, Bir Laffan, 26 December 1916. Admitted to Australian Rest Station, 18 November 1917 (abscess, face); transferred to No 76 Casualty Clearing Station, 19 November 1917; to No 44 Stationary Hospital, Kantara, 21 November 1917; to No 14 Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 22 November 1917; to Convalescent Depot, Abbassia, 22 December 1917; discharged, 6 January 1918, and marched into Australian Base Depot, Abbassia, the same day. Rejoined 14th Company, Imperial Camel Corps, Serapeum, 21 January 1918.
