Meritorious Service Medal 'For consistently good work and devotion to duty from 25th February to 16th September, 1918, as Corporal of the mounted Section of his Company Unit, Corporal JESSOP has carried out his duties in an able and praiseworthy manner. He has at all times rendered valuable assistance to the Sergeant in charge and during the latterUs absence at various times has carried out the duties with credit. He has always shown great coolness under fire when in charge of the transport in the Forward Area and has won the confidence of the men serving under him.'
