Entrained Gabbary, 5 January 1918; embarked on HMT 'Abbasaiah', 8 January 1918; disembarked Taranto, Italy, 13 January 1918; disembarked Southampton, England, 23 January 1918, and marched into 6th Training Bn, Fovant, the same day.

Proceeded overseas to France, 15 April 1918; marched into New Zealand Infantry and Base Depot, Etaples, 17 April 1918.

Taken on strength of 23rd Bn, 20 April 1918.
