Other details from Roll of Honour Circular | Fatally wounded at Menin Road, near Ypres, and died whilst being conveyed to the Hospital. Enlisted on 13 September 1914, left with the First Expeditionary Forces abord the "Rangstari" as a Driver in the 7th Battery, and was transferred to 11th Battery when that Battery was formed in Egypt. He saw service in Gallipoli and aftewards in France where he was killed. |
