Military Medal 'During a German attack on the morning of April 15th, Battery positions in Longatte Valley were heavily shelled. Gunner Justice maintained communication between 38th Battery and its C.P. under exceedingly heavy enemy Artillery barrage of H.E. and shrapnel, thereby enabling the Group Headquarters to keep in close touch with the situation which at that time was critical.'
