Found guilty, 16 March 1916, at Alexandria, of being absent from embarkation parade held on 15 March 1916: awarded 4 days Field Punishment No2. Embarked Alexandria, 16 March 1916; disembarked Marseilles, 21March 1916. Proceeded to join B.E.F. Found guilty, 4 April 1916, at Morbecque, of being absent without leave from 2.00 pm parade, 2 April 1916: awarded 72 hours Field Punishment.
