Found guilty, 6 May 1918, of being absent without leave from 9:00 am, 18 April to 9:00 am, 5 May 1918: awarded 14 days confined to Camp and forfeited 18 days' pay. marched out to Australian Division Training Depot, 1 September 1918; marched out to join Eastern Expeditionary Force, 3 September 1918; taken on strength of 12th Light Horse Brigade, 4 September 1918; to Descorps Rest Camp, Ludd, 19 September 1918. Found guilty, 31 October 1918, of (1) being absent without leave from 12:15 pm, 25 October to 6:30 pm, 28 October 1918 and (2) failing to march on parade: awarded 28 days' Field Punishment No 2 and forfeited 33 days' pay.
