Meritorious Service Medal 'Is brought to notice for particularly good and useful work during the period 17th September, 1918 to 31st December, 1918. He is a member of the Brigade Headquarters Orderly Room staff, and he has always performed his duties, often under trying circumstances, cheerfully and to the satisfaction of all concerned. During the latter days of the fighting when Brigade headquarters was constantly on the move, this non-commissioned officer's work was beyond praise. He has seen long service with the Brigade and his work throughout has been consistently good, both in and out of the line. he is recommended for distinction.'
