Military Medal 'This N.C.O. displayed great personal bravery and devotion to duty during the advance near MORLANCOURT, South West of ALBERT on 29th July 1918. He rushed an enemy post killing the garrison of 6 and capturing a machine gun. Later, during daylight, this N.C.O., single-handed went out into "No Man's Land" and captured two of the enemy, taking cover in the crops.'
