Meritorious Service Medal 'For devotion to duty during the period 16th/17th September, 1918, to 11th November, 1918. This N.C.O. has been on Brigade Headquarters since Deptember, 1916, and his work during that period has been uniformly excellent. He has had charge of the Brigade personnel and has been responsible for all acquittance rolls and pay duties generally. When the Brigade was in action L/Sgt KING was responsible for detonating all bombs at the Brigade Dump and greatly assisted operations by the manner in which he carried out his work.'
