'This Warrant Offices work during the period 21st September 1917 to 24th February 1918, has been of a high standard. He has been connected with the Brigade Office for 2 years and for the past 12 months has been in charge. Painstaking, reliable in all Office and Administrative matters he is invaluable. He too was recommended for inclusion in last half years Despatches, but his name was eliminated owing to the small allotment.'
