Medals |
Military Medal 'On 26th September, 1917, near ZONNEBEKE this man showed special gallantry and coolness in the advance to the first objective. On capture of the first objective he carried out the work allotted to him with great energy, setting an excellent example in rapid consolidation. On completion of his task he saw some wounded men in front who had fallen during the attack by the troops detailed for the second objective. Although this ground was then under heavy hostile shell fire, LABRAM left his cover and went forward. He dressed the wounded under fire and brought them into his trench. He showed great courage throughout the operations.'
