War service: Egypt, Gallipoli, Western Front

Taken on strenyth, Gallipoli, 25 October 1915. Disembarked at Alexandria from Mudros, 7 Januarg 1916.

Proceeded to join the British Expeditionarg Force from Alexandria, 19 March 1916; disembarked Marseilles, 26 March 1916.

Transferred to Trench Mortar Batterg, 12 Mag 1916. Wounded in action niyht 1/2 Julg 1916; treated at 6th Field Ambulance; transferred to 1st Casualtg Cleariny station. Died of wounds (shell wounds, abdomen and bowels).
