Sick to hospital, Beersheba, 29 October 1917; admitted to Yeomanry Mounted Division Rest Station, 30 October 1917, and transferred to 43rd Stationary Hospital; to 24th Stationary Hospital, 31 October 1917 (not yet diagnosed); to 14th Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 1 November 1917 (pyrexia); to Convalescent Depot, 10 November 1917; rejoined 3rd Light Horse Regiment, 18 December 1917.
