'At STRAZEELE on the night of the 11th June at 9.35 p.m. the 112th Howitzer Battery position was in the area of a severe enemy shell storm. Gunner HARMON was severely wounded and No. 2387 Gunner Rowley LAMBERT rushed to him and succeeded in struggling with him by short rushes to a shallow trench slightly to flank of the shelling, and remained with him stopping the bleeding till the shelling eased and he could be cleared.'
