Military Medal 'For conspicuous bravery on the night of the 10th, 11th April, 1917 in the attack on HINDENBURG LINE. He was the only one left of a bombing Section but continued to throw is bombs and held the enemy back on our left flank for a considerable time until reinforcements arrived.'
