Meritorious Service Medal

'For conspicuous and consistent service of the highest quality during period 16th September, 1918 to 11th November, 1919. Driver LLOYD has greatly distinguished himself by his courage, determination and devotion to duty, and by his marked skill in handling his teams. He has always succeeded in taking supplies to the most forward dumps and on occasions, during active operations to the Front Line. He has displayed great energy and ability, and has invariably shown the greatest care in his animals, harness and equipment. His work and conduct have at all times been most excellent and praiseworthy.'
