Military Medal 'Near RAVELSBERG on the 21st March, 1918, when the 47th Battery Horse Lines were being heavily shelled with H.V. Guns, No. 3693 Sergeant BEAVIS showed the greatest gallantry and initiative. He was continuously in the lines and released many unwounded horses at great personal risk; showing a magnificent example to the men of his section.
